    THESE ARE ALMOST BRAND NEW FROM THE MANUFACTURER !
    THIS IS A GEAR RACK SPACER BLOCK THAT IS 1/20TH PITCH. THIS IS A VERY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND PITCH. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO 64 PITCH. THE REASON IT IS CALLED 1/20 IS BECAUSE THE CIRCULAR PITCH IS .0500" WHICH IS THE DECIMAL EQUIVALENT OF THE FRACTION 1/20.   THESE ARE USED TO SET THE SPACING BETWEEN 2 PIECES OF 1/20 PITCH GEAR RACK DURING MOUNTING TO ENSURE THE TOOTH TO TOOTH SPACING ACROSS THE GAP IS FLAWLESS.
    THEY ARE ALSO USED AS A RETRACTABLE BRAKE OR LOCKING MECHANISM TO HOLD THE ROTATION OF A MECHANISM OR ASSEMBLY. THE INTRODUCTION OF THE RACK BLOCK PREVENTS ANY MOVEMENT ON THE OTHER PART IN MESH WITH THE BLOCK.
