  • Condition: This is an opened box, but I know was never used and you can see all of the components inside. Examine the photos and you will see it is BRAND NEW! Aroma cards still sealed in plastic. This was gift from the 1990s that was simply lost in storage. The box itself has some storage wear and a little dust consistent with aging, but all 36 wine aroma scent vials are included and FULL! The aromas are each suspended in what appears to be a gel. All the gels still maintain their aromas, but of course some aromas are naturally more faint than others.

    Description

    This is an extremely hard to find - VINTAGE - Wine Enthusiast Product - The Wine Bouquet - Wine Aroma Kit. Still new in box and never used. All 36 aroma vials are included and each is full with a gel that suspends the aroma inside. They are still maintain their aromas, though a few are naturally more faint than others, but the point behind the kit is to train or improve one’s scent memory and accurately identify a wide array of aromas contained in any wine. Each of the following is included in this kit:
    1) A total of 36 aroma vials of the following aromas: plum, black pepper, leather, green pepper, black currant, vanilla, tobacco, licorice, peach, butter, banana, cork, violet, apple, raspberry, strawberry, fig, hazelnut, apricot, lemon, hay, blueberry, pineapple, melon, blackberry, cherry, cedar, clove, smoke, toast, roasted almond, coffee, dark chocolate, yeast, sulphur, and honey;
    2) Wine Bouquet Wine Aroma Kit Handbook/Instructions enclosed in wax paper envelope;
    3) Sealed Coasters/Cards that correspond to the various aroma vials #1-#36 still sealed in plastic.
    Note. There are some marks and a little dust on the box itself, but this is not inconsistent with storage and aging of this item even though it remains New in Box.
