1797 C-3a R-3 PCGS G 06 Plain Edge Low Head Liberty Cap Half Cent Coin 1/2c

Description

PCGS authenticated and graded G 06. Light brown mellowed to live on some high points with deeper maroon spots and streaks on either side. There is a slight indention where the dentils should be parallel to the chin, appears as struck, and a few trivial marks in the fields including one over the cap. A tiny die break is seen at the chin, and another light break is seen from E in UNITED through the left wreath branch to just under H in HALF. Smooth surfaces. Plain Edge, Low Head variety.
