Description

PCGS authenticated and graded AU 50. Attractive light brown with old silver outlining the devices and legends, almost has the appearance of being silvered. Smooth, attractive surfaces, a few trivial marks on the reverse over STATES. Overstruck on a Talbot, Allum, and Lee cent, with strong undertype remaining on both sides of the coin. Strong dentils all the way around, a bit thin on the right obverse and lower right reverse. The date is readable despite being caught in the undertype. Manley Die State 2.0. Plain Edge, No Pole.
