    This item is for a 1794 1/2 cent.
    Although the date is unreadable, after thorough examination, this coin is clearly the 1794.
    This was easily established by 1st weighing the coin.
    In 1794 & 1795 the coin weiged 104 grains or 6.74 grams.
    In mid 1795, the weight was reduced to 80 grains or 5.44 grams.
    This coin weighs 6.7 grams, thus it is either a 1794 or 1795.
    To determine which it is clearly established that it is the 1794 based on the cap placement.
    On the 1795, the cap is significantly to the right of the edge, and in the 1794, the cap is virtually touching the edge.
